Portfolio > Tattoo Info

Before Your Appointment:
-Please ensure you’ve given me all the necessary details for your tattoo design. Because of the long shutdown my workload has increased & my schedule doesn’t allow for much wiggle room for redraws or reschedules.
-My Instagram has instructions on the details I need for booking a tattoo in case anything has been forgotten. There is a Highlight labelled How2Book.
-Please do your utmost to ensure you’re able to make it to the scheduled appointment date. Life happens & if something changes please let me know as soon as possible so we can make other arrangements. I’ve been juggling a lot of schedule changes lately & it’s very interruptive. More than 1 rescheduled appointment will result in a forfeit deposit & I’ll need to receive a new deposit to book you in again.
-Get a good night’s sleep & eat a hearty meal beforehand. Bring some water & sugar with you in case you get light-headed.
-Check yourself. Do you have any symptoms of illness - COVID19-related or otherwise, do you have a temperature? Was there any possible exposure with someone who tested positive for COVID19 within the past 2 weeks? Let me know as soon as possible. Deposits will be honoured if we need to reschedule. PLEASE be honest & forthcoming.
-Deposits are non-refundable. If you miss your appointment (for non-emergency/health reasons) this costs me a very necessary ability to earn income, and your deposit will be forfeit. The same goes for appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice (except in urgent situations, at my discretion). Please take my time as seriously as I take yours.
-I’ve always been very understanding of folks running late, but please try to be as punctual as possible. My days are heavily booked & I can’t always accommodate the extra time. In certain circumstances you may lose your spot/deposit.
-Any more than 30 minutes late will entail a cancelation. No-shows or last-minute cancelations, along with changing your mind day-of, are NOT options. Barring an emergency, you will lose your deposit & I may choose to no longer work with you.

At Your Appointment
-Arrive on time & alone. If you are early you will need to wait outside; guests will not be permitted at all.
-We are located on the 2nd floor, the door that says Be Nice Or Leave to your left. Knock audibly on that door UPSTAIRS at your appointed time & you will be let in once I am ready. Please don’t come up early or message me to let me know you’re here. Just knock (unless there’s a issue).
-Wear a clean cloth or surgical mask. If you do not have one we can provide a disposable mask.
-While you wait I will send a consent waiver to your phone. If you are unable to fill out a digital waiver this way I can email it ahead of time.
-Snacks/drinks are welcome provided they are consumed quickly at a distance. There is otherwise NO removal of masks in the common area of the shop without permission.
-Cash is the preferred method of payment. There are banks & ATMs nearby.

FYIs
-I am fully vaccinated! (Yay)
-Our shop is very small but there are only 2 artists tattooing. We will do our best to keep everyone spaced out, please be aware of your bubble & do the same.
-There are convenience stores nearby if you need an ATM, masks, & immediate snacks.
-There’s a Jerk restaurant downstairs that is tasty, vegan-friendly, & you can order & pay easily from your phone if you forget to eat. There is coffee, juice & donuts beneath us at Congo Coffee if you need that caffeine/sugar fix.
-Nearby stores you may need access to: Shoppers Drug Mart, No Frills, 241 Pizza. Banks: CIBC, Royal, TD, Scotiabank.
-There is Green P street parking available on Parliament. It is $3/hr with a 3 hr limit. There is free street parking available on Spruce St, one block north of the shop. There is a thrift store parking lot on Gerrard as well that we sometimes park in despite the signage, but no guarantees with this one.
-Tips are always appreciated but not expected :)

If there are any further questions you need answered during this uncertain time don’t hesitate to ask! There will be a learning curve as we get used to this new normal, so protocols may evolve.
